Recent discourse has brought a variety of D&D derivatives and offshoots back into the conversation. Legend was a clean little branch of 3.X that grew out of the min-maxing community. One thing I remember liking about it was the way it fragmented classes into tracks” that you could pick and choose from. You could play a paladin with a barbarian’s rage, or a wizard with a rogue’s sneak attack. The modularity reminds me of Marcia B’s recent hack, Fivey. The Legend forums are long gone, but there’s still activity on the Discord server.

Recovered: Spider Racial Track

This is for a game called Legend, which is pretty cool, but which doesn’t have enough monsters (they’re working on it). It’s also undergoing major revisions, so this may not always work perfectly.

The Spider Racial Track

Of course, I had a lot of help with this track, and credit goes out to the cool people on the forums.
